Why Orion

Get paid your way, without changing how customers pay

Most customers will never hold crypto. With Orion they keep paying by card — and you decide how you want to be paid.

No change for your customers

A familiar card checkout in CAD or USD. No wallets, no tokens, no new steps that cost you sales.

Choose how you're paid

Dollars to your bank, or USDC to your wallet — where your provider supports it. Switch with a verified, reviewed change.

One dashboard for everything

Card and crypto payments, refunds, disputes and payouts in one place, with CSV exports for your accountant.

Built for careful review

We prepare complete, honest applications — including for higher-scrutiny categories — so providers can say yes with confidence.

Know exactly what happened

Every payment has a plain-English history: who, what, when and why its status changed.

Card to crypto

Your customers pay by card. You get paid in USDC.

An ordinary card checkout for your customers. Settlement in a supported stablecoin for you — performed by a licensed provider, reported and reconciled by Orion.

Step 1

Customer pays by card

They buy your goods in CAD or USD at a normal checkout. They are not buying crypto and need no wallet.

Step 2

Provider settles in USDC

Where your provider supports it, your proceeds are settled in USDC instead of fiat, at a rate and fee the provider discloses.

Step 3

USDC lands in your wallet

Paid to a wallet you verified, matched to every order and payment, and exportable for your books.

Provider approval required. No provider offering card-to-stablecoin settlement is contracted yet. Card refunds and chargebacks still apply when you are settled in USDC, and Orion never holds your funds.

Get started

Three steps to your first payout

  1. 1

    Apply in minutes

Tell us about your business, what you sell and how you'd like to be paid. Save and come back any time.

  2. 2

    We prepare your approval

Our team reviews your application and submits it to a payment provider that fits your business.

  3. 3

    Start selling

Once approved, add checkout to your site or share a payment link. Track every payment and payout.

Approval is decided by the provider and isn't guaranteed. Orion is in development; live processing isn't available yet.

Questions

Good questions, straight answers

Is live processing available?

No. Only a sandbox with simulated providers and synthetic data is available. No processor, acquiring bank, licence, registration or commercial agreement is confirmed. Live processing stays disabled until operational, legal and provider requirements are met.

Is approval guaranteed?

No. Orion reviews each application and may decline it, and the provider makes its own independent decision. Submitting an application, accepting documents or ticking a checkbox never means approval.

Are customers buying goods or crypto?

Goods. The intended experience is an ordinary purchase of your goods. Orion never secretly turns a card payment into a cryptocurrency purchase. If a provider's model requires the customer to buy crypto, its disclosures and the customer's consent are shown before payment.

Does a customer need a wallet?

Only if they choose to pay directly in USDC. Customers paying by card or Interac do not need a wallet.

What are the fees?

[Fees to be set following partner and merchant review]. Orion has not set any rates and will publish pricing only after partner and merchant review. Fees shown in the sandbox are synthetic simulation values.

Does USDC settlement remove chargebacks?

No. If a customer paid by card, card refund and dispute rights still apply even if you are settled in a stablecoin.
